Allegiance Care Management works closely with Allegiance to provide risk management services that help our clients improve outcomes for employees and manage medical costs for the Plan. We are a medical management company that understands the healthcare industry. We work together with the patient, the provider, the payer, and the Plan to proactively manage the patient's care. The result is that the patient receives optimum care, while unnecessary medical costs are minimized.
Allegiance Care Management offers an experienced staff of utilization reviewers, case managers, and medical directors. Our nurses have extensive and varied clinical experience as well as certification in case management. In addition to our nurses, our clients benefit from the expertise of our Medical Directors as well as an external panel of experts. This diverse knowledge and experience prove invaluable in producing exceptional outcomes for our clients.
Allegiance Care Management is URAC (Utilization Review Accreditation Commission) accredited in Health Utilization Management. URAC standards ensure that only appropriately trained, qualified clinical personnel conduct and oversee the utilization review process, that a reasonable and timely appeals process is in place, and that medical decisions are based on valid clinical criteria.
